Modern Art Mondays
The pictures were taken with my cell phone because I was afraid to run and get the camera. (Hey, do you blame me?? Would you leave a 1 year old and a 2 year old alone in a room armed with paint and brushes?!)
Inspiration came to Marcus (2) while he was suppose to be eating breakfast. While eating he jumped out of his chair and said, "Mama, I need my paint."
Who am I to stop an artist or interfere with flash genius like that? So I quickly provided him some paints and he went to work. Soon after Sophia (1) started objecting loudly to the fact that Marcus was out of his chair painting while she was strapped into her high chair. I let her out and it became a joint collaboration.
Here is their final masterpiece. Enjoy!

I love your blog. I've just spent the better part of 2 hours just reading your posts.
Thanks for the comment on my blog (Tiny Tot School). I bought the craft sticks and blocks at a local craft store here in South Africa. I, unfortunately, haven't seen them online, but if I do, I'll let you know ;)
OK! Thanks for the info! I will keep looking too! I think it was a great idea that I know my little ones will enjoy.
I just wanted to say I love your blog! I gave you a blog award over on my site.
