My name is Cathy and I am an Attached Mama. Like most mamas, I wear many hats in life.
I am the wife of a wonderful man named Doug. He is my best friend. He always makes me laugh. I can always share my heart with him. And no matter what wacky thing I show an interest in, he has always been there to support me. I am so incredibly blessed to have him in my life.
We have also been blessed with two wonderfully sweet little children. I love them both so much, and treasure every moment I have with them. My children were both 16 months apart. Life here can be hectic at times (especially when they were younger)! However, I have found that having children that close in age has its benefits too. They truly are best friends with each other.
Marcus is my oldest.

Sophia (aka She-She, aka Sophie) is my youngest.
Becoming a mother has been a true life changing experiences. They have taught me so much about myself. I am constantly surprised and awed by what wonderful little people they are growing into. I love them both so much and I am so thankful that I am their mommy. Much of this blog is devoted to our adventures learning and playing. I try to teach my children that learning is a part of life.
I am an avid sewer. I sew mostly clothing and aprons...however, now and then I will venture into the home decor side of crafting. I love working with beautiful fabric and will often use this blog to talk about the various things I have sewn or crafted.
Before having children, I worked full time as an Electrical Engineer for a large corporation. Since having Marcus I have been a full time, stay at home mom. I have to say that I really enjoy homemaking and strive to give it my very best. So from time to time I also will talk about cleaning and organizing tips, recipes, and meal planning.
Last, but not least, we practice Attachment Parenting. We co-slept with both of our children, we wore them as babies/toddlers. and we extended breastfeeding. We also try to practice gentle dicipline strategies whenever possible. So from time to time I will also talk about Attachment Parenting. I am not The Attached Mama as the name applies. I am not perfect, I make mistakes, but I will share my views on parenting in an honest and helpful manner.
